GWO WLA Offshore Limited Access (OFL)

Purpose of GWO WLA
The GWO Wind Limited Access course gives you the basic knowledge, skills, and confidence to stay safe during supervised visits to onshore wind sites.
You’ll learn how to avoid putting yourself or others at risk.
This course is not for working inside wind turbines or visiting sites with high safety risks - like faulty turbines or those under construction.
It’s designed for people who visit wind turbine sites occasionally - no more than six times a year - and always under supervision.

Technicians, inspectors, or visitors without regular offshore duties
Anyone needing limited access to wind turbine generators (WTGs)

Offshore wind safety introduction
Fire awareness and emergency procedures
Safe vessel-to-turbine transfers
Use of PPE and fall protection
Controlled descent and evacuation

After enrolling, you'll receive a separate email with detailed joining instructions for the training session.Step 4
Attend your scheduled training session and pass the required assessments to successfully achieve certification.Step 5
Upon successfully completing the course and passing the assessments, you'll receive your official certification from Maersk Training or the relevant accreditation body.
