IGF Code - Basic Training
Purpose of IGF Code Basic Training
The IGF Code Basic Training course is designed to meet the mandatory STCW standards for seafarers with safety duties related to ships powered by gases or other low-flashpoint fuels. This course helps you build critical safety and emergency response skills for operating LNG and alternative-fuelled vessels.
Approved by the Danish Maritime Authority (DMA), this training supports compliance with the International Code of Safety for Ships using Gases or other Low-flashpoint Fuels (IGF Code), as outlined in STCW Table A-V/3-1.
