Purpose of IGF Code Sea Time Reduction
The 5-day IGF Sea-time Reduction Course is designed to provide maritime professionals with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in implementing and managing IGF fuel installations and operations. This training ensures participants are equipped to meet international safety, compliance, and operational standards while handling IGF fuel systems.
The course corresponds to 30 days of seagoing experience as required by STCW, accredited by the Bahamas Maritime Authority or 25 days of seagoing experience accredited by the Danish Maritime Authority.

• Safe LNG bunkering operations will be assessed during practical simulations. • The course ends with a multiple-answer test, requiring at least 80% correct answers to pass. • Continuous feedback is provided throughout the course.
