GWO Basic Safety Training (includes sea survival)
The entry course for anyone starting work in the offshore wind industry. It includes all five GWO modules: Working at Heights, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, First Aid, and Sea Survival. Training takes place in realistic offshore conditions to prepare you for life at sea and the challenges of working on turbines.

GWO Basic Safety Training – Onshore (without sea survival)
The entry course for onshore wind work. Includes GWO Working at Heights, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, and First Aid. Designed for technicians who need a solid safety foundation for land-based turbine operations.

GWO Basic Technical Training
The entry course for those starting a technical career in the wind industry. The training includes the GWO Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic modules. Participants learn how to operate, service, and maintain wind turbine systems through practical, hands-on exercises. The course builds confidence in using tools and following safe working procedures around turbine components.

GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART)
Designed for experienced wind technicians, this course prepares you to perform safe and efficient rescues from hub, nacelle, tower, and basement areas. It combines GWO Hub Rescue, Nacelle, Tower & Basement Rescue, and Single Rescuer modules to strengthen emergency readiness.

GWO Enhanced First Aid (EFA)
Enhance your ability to respond to medical emergencies in remote or offshore settings. This course expands on standard GWO First Aid and focuses on advanced patient assessment, stabilisation, and evacuation techniques.

GWO High Voltage Cable Pulling (HVCP)
Gain the technical skills to safely handle and install high-voltage cables during wind turbine construction and maintenance. The training emphasises correct handling, jointing, and safety precautions under GWO guidance.
