Located in Bleivik, just north of Haugesund, is the largest in Norway. Established in 1973 as the Norwegian Accident Protection School, it has continuously operated, providing extensive safety and emergency preparedness training. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment, including a heated indoor pool for helicopter evacuation exercises, a sea rig for maritime training, and a 3-story fire building for smoke diving. With multiple classrooms, two large fire fields, and an outdoor sea rig, the centre supports a wide range of practical and theoretical courses. It also includes meeting rooms, an auditorium, and computer labs for enhanced learning experiences.
